An opportunity to practice laparoscopic anterior resection in a high fidelity simulated course provided by experienced surgical faculty.

Cook and Gore Medical Abdominal wall course

An opportunity to discuss and practice concepts of abdominal wall closure and repair with faculty from the ACPGBI Abdominal wall subcommittee.

Terms and Conditions

1. This course is FREE for all Dukes'/ACPGBI trainee members.This means those with associate ACPGBI membership who are surgical trainees or post-CCT fellows. The Dukes' Club reserve the right to delete bookings made by those who do not meet criteria.
2. No CPD points will be given for this event which is designed for colorectal trainees.
3. If an ACPGBI membership is not provided at the time of booking your booking will be deleted.
4. A refundable deposit is required to confirm your place and will be refunded on attendance.
5. If you are unable to attend the meeting after the booking, refunds will be issued up to 14 days prior to the event.
6. If there is non-attendance of the event or any part thereof, your deposit will not be refunded unless exceptional circumstances can be proven.
7. Exceptional circumstances include personal COVID-19, requirement for self-isolation, or bereavement. The Dukes' Club reserve the right to request evidence for the above.
8. Any other reasons for non-attendance including short-notice cover at work, or child-care will be considered by the committee but will be unlikely to result in a return of the deposit as the costs will not be recoverable by the Dukes' Club.
9. If it is discovered that attendees do not meet the above eligibility criteria the Dukes' Club reserve the right to retain the deposit.
10. The committee reserves the right to refuse reservation of future events in the case of non-attendance.
